This workshop is designed to provide participants with information and skills to plan and implement strategic directions for their service. It will focus on topics such as the Values of your Service, setting and monitoring Strategic priorities, viability size, setting and measuring the Right Goals, determining Critical Success Factors , benchmark ing Key Outcomes , l isting and assessing sources of Funding for Growth, and managing Operational Risk.

Ray Bennett edits and publishes the Australian Community Management magazine. Ray’s previous experience includes tutoring and lecturing at Sydney University , various management positions in the corporate sector, and Head of Department, Business Studies, Sydney Institute of TAFE where Ray was involved in developing the Welfare Certificate and Associate Diploma courses.

For the last fifteen years, Ray has been a consultant with an emphasis on strategies for managing change and team development, and particularly on improving management systems, achieving Quality Assurance accreditation, and improving productivity in organisations.
