About Us

 

Interchange NSW is the peak body for organisations involved in providing respite care and social support services to families who have a member with a disability, or is frail aged.

Our role is to support these organisations to help them deliver better services to families/ carers.

We do this by providing members with a range of services designed to expose them to the latest information and developments in the respite care sector.

We also offer a range of networking and specialised training opportunities for staff, co-ordinators, managers and board members of member organisation.

What do we do?

Interchange NSW offers members a range of services and resources, including:

  • A monthly newsletter and updates on industry issues
  • Information neyworking & dissemination
  • Regular regional meetings 
  • Training and professional development in all regional areas 
  • Tailored training to your service individual needs training available for management
    committees, managers, co-ordinators, workers, and volunteers.
  • Representation at a state and national level for all members on issues relating to respite care and working with people with disabilities, people who are frail aged, and their families.
